Essential Oils - Medicinal & Beautiful Aromas

I have a love of essential oils when they are pure for their beautiful aroma, energy and closeness to nature. I use them everyday in beauty products, for health ailments and in our home to create beautiful aromas. You will see some of my recipes use a few drops to add beautiful flavour and my moisturiser has a beautiful combination of essential oils.

Mindfulness

Mindfulness is a hot topic at the moment and is a passion of mine, for myself, my family and my community. It is a true life skill that we should all be practicing and I am forever reminding myself and teaching myself to be mindful. I have not mastered it but I love to practice and teach children and adults how to be more mindful. It can include meditations but it can also be as simple as 3 slow focused breaths. I love to use these phrases during stressful times
"May I be Safe, May I be Happy, May I be Healthy, May I Live with Ease"
It is gentle and not forceful and allows for me to be not happy but may I be happy at some point.
Mindfulness is a skill children have and are learning, but must continue to practice in our busy lives or it will be lost. Ever seen how long a child that finds ants can look at them for, they live in the present moment very well. But we can still give them tools to ensure they can always be present and mindful when they need it most, this can assist them with concentration and self regulation of emotions. I have completed many causes that cover these topics over the past 4 years that include:
