I love to get lost in a new or even old cookbook on the shelf. When I was on holidays over the summer I treated myself to some new ones, I hadn’t purchased any in a while, as l do find many recipes on the internet. But there is nothing like holding the book in your hands. So I sunk into the cookbooks at Big W, so many chooses but I settled on these 3.

- Hemsley and Hemsley - have lots of info on weekend prep and then easy weekday food prep, and it is all delish in a stunning book.
- Lee Holmes has very simple yummy healthy kids foods just no pictures which is a same.
- Sarah Wilsons Slow Cooker recipes are SOOOO easy, just throw it all in and 4-8 hours later its ready, no braising which is fantastic.
The first one I’ll share is this pizza base by Lee Holmes that is gluten free and I’ve tried many but the kids have never liked them, but this one was a hit. They still don’t know that it is any different to the ones I buy or even the spelt ones I make. So it’s a “Keeper” in the kids words!!! I hope you enjoy it too.
